EV Charging Stations
Voltas connects electric vehicle charging station owners with hotels, offices, employers, retail stores, apartment complexes, and gas stations that want to provide EV power for their customers, clients, employees, tenants, and friends.

Level 2
Hotels, Workplaces, Apartment Complexes
Commercial-grade Level 2 EV chargers typically cost about $15,000 to purchase and install. They produce roughly 10kWh and will fully charge most electric vehicles in 6-8 hours. They are ideal for partial charges at locations where the driver will be staying for a few hours.
Level 3
Gas Stations, Retail Stores
Commercial-grade Level 3 chargers typically cost in the neighborhood of $200,000 to purchase and install. They produce about 200kWh and will fully charge most electric vehicles in 20-40 minutes. They are ideal for locations where the driver is making a quick stop, like gas stations or retails stores. EV drivers will often go out of their way to use a Level 3 charger, so companies will often install Level 3 chargers to attract customers.

Solar & Wind
Cost savings and Remote Locations
EV chargers can usually be connected to power from the local utility company, but it's often more cost efficient to supplement utility power with self-generated solar or wind energy. Capturing wind and solar also helps in remote locations where utilities are scarce or unreliable. Some small towns that are experiencing a surge of growth lack sufficient infrastructure to support new communities, so solar and wind power may be necessary to provide viable EV charging solutions.
Batteries
Energy storage
Lithium-Iron Phosphate Batteries (LiFePO4) are lighter, more compact, and more powerful than traditional lead-acid batteries and employ state of the art battery management systems. Our Lithium advanced technology replaces conventional battery storage products (like sealed, AGM, or gel batteries) in micro-grid energy storage systems.
